Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28th, 1967. She was born in Atlanta. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. She was inspired by her father's love in the theater at an early childhood. He performed on at the Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. He joined the military in 1953 and, while stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, he appeared in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the air force. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their first daughter, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they left the airforce and Walter started studying at Tulane University. In 1960 the family moved from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1964, Walter together with Betty Lou began production on an on-sunday morning local children's television program called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they designed and funded. The following year they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which was in operation for six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also referred to as Lisa) and Julia (also known as Julie) at the time.
