My baby crawled around in a playpen while I sat for 12 hours, sanding the floor as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! We were getting close to completing, however we were a long way off. Growing Days was not only an incredibly successful business, but also my sweet family. The balance was between starting a business and becoming a mother. Growing Days just seemed to be the right fit. Nora came into our lives in 2013 to be our fourth baby. It was a great direction for my business, but I also needed an escape. I decided to take a break from making vintage furniture, and also slowed my pace to be at home to help my children. The time was right. Within a couple of months, the phone began to start to.
