Katherine Heigl opens up with the world on her "white bubble life" and how it has affected her parenting style for her adopted multiracial children. In an interview, she said recent interview that, in terms of skin colour the issue isn't that important. But after speaking to her sister who is adopted from South Korea she realized just the different ways society treats them. "I wanted to know Meg how she was that she was treated differently when going out with our parents and the times she was out alone. She said: 'Oh yes, I've seen it all and I've been there all the time! Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had caused me to feel." The actor said she became angry but felt she needed use that anger to help her adopted daughters. Heigl is engaged to Josh Kelley for 13 years, have a son, Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. In 2009, the couple adopted Nancy Leigh (12), one of their daughters of South Korea, and Adalaide (8 the black child) in 2012.
